The Wong Family

We had the pleasure of photographing family portraits for this beautiful family, the Wong's. Their baby daughter Sabrina was full of energy and super cute in front of the camera. They are a really sweet family, and we are so honored that they used the photographs for their Christmas cards!

Day After Shoot

Many of our couples ask if we can do a Day After Shoot, otherwise known as "Trash the Dress" for them, and the answer is YES! We think this type of photo shoot is a great idea because not only does it give the bride a chance to wear her gorgeous and expensive gown again, but it captures the couple's moment together in a more relaxed and casual environment. We don't really like to call this "Trash the Dress" since it doesn't reflect the type of shoot we do. We don't encourage couples to submerge themselves under water, roll around in the mud, and destroy a $5000 gown. However, to each his/her own. We want the photographs to still be beautiful and natural. Check out the Day After Shoot we did for Kelsey and Scott, and again as always, they were so photogenic and fantastic. Thanks guys! :)

2009 Bride's Choice Awards!

WeddingWire, the nation's leading wedding technology company, just announced that Sean J. Mason Photography has won the 2009 Bride's Choice Awards!
In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US. That means Sean J. Mason Photography is one of the very best wedding photographers.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.

We would like to thank our past clients for speaking on our behalf and helping us win the 2009 Bride’s Choice Award!

Karen & Vin Wedding NOVEMBER 1, 2008

Congratulations Karen and Vin! Karen and Vin had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at Karen's parents house where she wore her Grandma's exquisite Chinese wedding gown. Karen then changed into a traditional western wedding gown, and then for the reception, into her mother's Chinese qi pao. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Pasadena Museum of History. Luckily, we finished taking most of the formal photographs prior to the ceremony since it started to rain. Right after the ceremony finished, it poured! We were able to get some great photographs inside the museum, and the day was still beautiful.
